Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist Physician to join a well-established hospital-based OB/GYN program in Casper, WY. This is a full-time hospitalist role focused on 12-hour overnight shifts, offering exceptional work-life balance with no office responsibilities or on-call duty.

Position Highlights:

• Schedule Flexibility:
• Full-time hospitalists typically work eight 24-hour shifts or 10–12 twelve-hour shifts per month.
• This position is primarily 12-hour overnight shifts, with the option for a mix of 12- and 24-hour shifts based on physician preference.
• No clinic, no call, no administrative office management
• Supportive, collaborative hospitalist model

Clinical Environment:

• Over 1,100 births annually
• Six labor and delivery rooms
• Dedicated C-section suite
• 10 private, family-sized postpartum rooms with pull-out couches
• Level II Nursery providing specialized neonatal care, including respiratory support
• 24/7 in-house pediatric hospitalist coverage

Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Wyoming medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Current DEA registration

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual compensation: $300,000 – $340,000
