Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to patients. This position requires compassion, critical thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or advanced practice providers. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and streamline services. Document all care provided in compliance with organizational policies and standards. Qualifications Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. Previous medical-surgical nursing experience is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Work Schedule Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
