Associate Technician, Quality Control

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Associate Technician Quality Control for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Cary IL. This is a 6 month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for supporting essential laboratory functions including cleaning glassware restocking supplies performing basic instrument maintenance and preparing reagents. The ideal candidate will assist in routine analytical and microbial testing to ensure quality standards are maintained. This is a 2nd shift position working from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reagents and solutions used for routine and non-routine analyses such as diluents and culture media
• Perform pH analysis on reagents and solutions needed for routine testing
• Perform routine and non-routine sampling and processing of production lines for cleaning surveillance
• Perform laboratory maintenance activities including equipment preventative maintenance disposal of waste and cleaning laboratory areas
• Perform laboratory glassware cleaning and stocking activities
• Order and log in supplies and reagents
• File and copy records for record retention
• Perform other laboratory operations activities as needed

Requirements:

• Experience supporting essential laboratory functions
• Ability to assist in routine analytical and microbial testing
• Familiarity with preparing reagents and solutions
• Knowledge of basic instrument maintenance

Pay range: $17.62 - $27.62 per hour
