Business Development Manager

Our client is a well-established international organization supplying specialty chemical solutions to customers across North America. With an established global network and strong backing, they are looking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of their U.S. business. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys developing new business while managing key customer relationships in a fast-paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities Develop new business opportunities and build long-term customer relationships across a range of industrial markets. Manage and grow an existing portfolio of strategic customer accounts. Identify new applications, markets, and opportunities to drive revenue growth. Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery. Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of customer orders. Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitive developments to identify new growth opportunities. Coordinate with logistics, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Support commercial planning and contribute to the continued expansion of the North American business. Requirements 5+ years\' commercial experience within the chemical industry. Proven track record in business development, technical sales, account management, or commercial sales. Experience selling specialty or industrial chemicals into manufacturing markets.
