LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

As an LPN at Envive Healthcare of Hartford City, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing nursing care to patients as assigned, including administering and recording medications and treatments

• Reinforcing supports and providing health care instructions to patients and their families

• Participating with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities

• Assisting in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients

• Observing and reporting patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individual(s)

• Recording on patient charts observations of patient's responses to nursing care rendered

• Maintaining environmental conditions conducive to the comfort and safety of patients

• Assisting with unit management and/or assuming charge of unit as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• LPN Licensure: 1 year (Preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and families
