Job Description As a Security Officer Part Time Theft Prevention in Clayton, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and report security-related concerns. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for personnel and visitors, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports. Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following all applicable post orders and client policies. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Loss prevention experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred.* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
