Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

A healthcare organization in Pittsfield, MA is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum-to-perm opportunity in a hospital-based main operating room and endoscopy setting. This role offers supervised anesthesia care across a range of surgical cases with the potential for permanent conversion.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with possible weekend coverage
Hours: 8-hour shifts; guaranteed 32 hours per week
Setting: Hospital-based main OR and endoscopy

Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia services for general adult and pediatric surgical cases
Administer regional techniques, including spinal, epidural, IV regional, and other regional anesthesia
Support obstetrical and neurosurgical procedures as part of the anesthesia team
Work collaboratively with supervising providers, OR staff, and the broader clinical team
Document patient care and anesthesia services in the EMR

Qualifications:

Board Certified CRNA
Active Massachusetts license or willingness to obtain
BLS and ACLS certifications

Desired Skills:

At least 2 years of CRNA experience
Experience with Meditech Expanse
Background in hospital-based anesthesia care
Familiarity with trauma center practice environments
