Registered Nurse

The Nursing position (RN or LPN) oversees the health side of daily life for the adults we serve: running the medication management program, monitoring health conditions, coordinating with outside medical and psychiatric providers, and supporting Direct Support Professionals on health and safety practices. We are hiring nurses across every Gardens community, and Brodie Creek, our newest Little Rock location, is building its founding team. The right person is organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely likes working alongside people with serious mental illness and developmental disabilities. You will work closely with the Program Administrator, therapists, and DSP staff. Reports to the Program Administrator. WHAT YOU'LL DO Oversee the medication management program: ensure medications are ordered, logged, and handled according to physician orders and company policy. Monitor the health of the people we serve and follow up on changes, concerns, and incidents. Coordinate medical and psychiatric appointments and make sure follow-up instructions are carried out. Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, and outside providers on behalf of the people we serve. Train and support DSP staff on health, safety, and medication procedures. Respond to health-related concerns and emergencies according to policy. Complete timely, accurate documentation in each person's service record. Support infection control practices and a clean, safe environment. QUALIFICATIONS Current Arkansas RN or LPN license in good standing. Experience in behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or residential settings preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to pass required DHS background checks and drug screen, and maintain background clearance. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Criminal background check.
