AWS Data Engineer

AWS Data Engineer
Location – NJ/NY Position: Contract
Experience in AWS Cloud Data technologies like S3, GLUE, REDSHIFT, LAMBDA, IAM, EMR
Experience with Scripting languages like Python, Spark SQL, Data Frames etc
Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology : ETL, RDBMS etc
Work with the application development teams throughout the development life cycle
Technically lead AWS developers by mentoring, sharing knowledge and enforcing standards
Review code changes made by others, helping to support the overall quality and reliability of our products
Evaluate new Business Intelligence technologies, features, and products
Lead or participate in Proof-of-Concept projects
Expert in quickly understanding business needs and requirement gathering
Able to learn quickly and adapt to quickly changing technologies
Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks
Good written and oral communication
Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions
