IT Support Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to provide onsite support across multiple terminal locations. This role will support end users, desktop and laptop deployments, networking, hardware installations, printers, mobile devices, and day-to-day IT operations in a fast-paced environment where technology uptime directly supports business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting operational environments such as logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, transportation, maritime, or distribution organizations.Ability to effectively troubleshoot Windows workstation issues, including domain join failures, network share access issues, and endpoint deployment challenges. Experience supporting Active Directory, user provisioning, permissions management, and access control. Working knowledge of basic networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Experience connecting and deploying network-connected devices within enterprise environments. Experience utilizing ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, including ticket management, incident resolution, documentation, escalation management, and knowledge base maintenance. Exposure to virtualized environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar technologies. Strong troubleshooting methodology with the ability to communicate technical concepts and resolution steps clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
