The Veterinarian Technician will play a crucial role in supporting a busy small animal veterinary clinic with a fear free certified staff. As part of the Veterinary Technician Team, the technician will assist veterinarians by providing high-quality animal care, administering medications, monitoring anesthesia, and maintaining accurate patient records. Strong client communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the entire veterinary team are essential. We will help all departments with responsibilities when needed. We are a staff that respects each other, our clients and our patients. Minimal travel is expected in this role.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care for small animals during examinations and treatments
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during procedures
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care and follow-up instructions

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a small animal veterinary technician preferred
• Familiarity with Avimark Point of Sale system
