Healthcare Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to all Medicare Advantage members. Assist with coverage and claims related questions. Accurately interpret benefits and policy provisions for all products. Conduct research and follow-up for prompt resolution. Work efficiently in a high volume call center while maintaining a professional, polite manner. Research, investigate and triage customer issues of concern and dissatisfaction as assigned. Advocate for the customer: explain benefits in a detailed and courteous manner so they are understood. Skills & Qualifications Need to be tech savvy Call center experience and understanding metrics/expectations Computer literacy Must have excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor Understand how to resolve customer service issues effectively and efficiently Empathy is crucial for success in this role Prior healthcare experience is preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, OR. Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
