Project Manager

Overview Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a project management representative to join the mission and the Program Management Office (PMO) Team. The role will execute strategic plans for space and capacity management, new facility construction, and modernizing onboarding processes. The candidate will interface with program subject matter experts, facilities teams, and senior leadership to present status, mitigation, and recovery plans. Responsibilities Oversee and manage operational aspects of ongoing facility infrastructure projects and serve as liaison between project management, planning, project team, and leadership. Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Evaluate project issues and develop resolutions to meet schedule, cost, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, leadership, and customers. Provide additional support to other PMO roles including event planning and logistics, executive support, and guidance for onboarding and offboarding activities. Coordinate requirements with key stakeholders as assigned; may require travel a few times a year. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 3-10 years equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience and proven management skills across multiple simultaneous projects. Proven relationship builder with a history of building consensus throughout organizations. Effective communicator able to drive integration between functions, creating stakeholder alignment. Proven self-starter who works independently and proactively drives results. Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite. Desired Skills Experience presenting to executive level audiences. Prior experience managing project scope up to $25 million. Background in facilities project management, staffing and capacity management, and facilities space planning/management. Experience developing onboarding processes for new employee experience. Current lean Six Sigma certification with recent execution. Long-range planning experience. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level: Secret. Location & Work Schedule Onsite Full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 9-80 every other Friday off. Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary range for this position (California, Massachusetts, New York excluding most major metropolitan areas, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington D.C.) is $77,700 - $136,965. The range may vary based on final work location.
