Web Accessibility Specialist / Content Producer Help drive change! ECLARO is looking for a Web Accessibility Specialist / Content Producer for our client in Albany, NY (Remote). ECLARO's client advocates for energy efficiency and clean energy technology. If you're up to the challenge, then take a chance at this rewarding opportunity! Responsibilities: Document and web accessibility testing and remediation. Remediate PDFs, MS Office documents, and website content to meet accessibility guidelines prior to publishing on NYSERDA web sites. Training team on PDF remediation. Other duties as assigned that contribute to the key outcomes of the Large Scale Renewables team. Skills: Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and PDF / UA standards. Seman C HTML. Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Ability to interpret logical flow and reading order of documents. Ability to write accurate alt text and descriptions for images and graphs. Ability to communicate accessibility best practices. Ability to train and support internal and external stakeholders. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong computer skills. Adobe Acrobat Professional (Accessibility Remediation) Client (PDF Accessibility Checker) CommonLook NVDA Screen Reader WAVE Accessibility Evaluation Tool SiteImprove Accessibility Testing Accessibility Insights for Web.
