2nd Shift Welder

Job TitleJob Duties• Read and understand work related materials.• Strong blueprint reading.• Experience in MIG/TIG/SMAW (stick) welding.• Sanding, chipping and cleaning of parts.• Layout, assemble in jigs or fixtures, weld, and inspect welds.• Perform safe work habits.• Must be able to bend, twist, climb and lift up to 75 pounds.• Must clean work area at end of each shift or as required.• Plan work by reviewing work orders and incorporating maximum usage of material with minimum waste.• Must clean and organize work area throughout shift and at the end of shift.• Must be able to respond quickly and smoothly to production and customer needs understanding changes to the schedule dictate the work performed.• Must pass and maintain ability to wear appropriate PPE and monitoring requirements.• This is a safety sensitive position due to handling heavy material and operating forklifts.
