Job Summary The OR Interventional Technologist performs various roles involved in interventional imaging procedures, in accordance with departmental policies, to ensure best possible patient care services. Position Highlights $10,000 sign‑on bonus. Relocation stipend. Full‑time positions with various shifts available (3 12‑hour shifts per week). Industry‑competitive rates. Shift differentials are available. The sign‑on bonus and relocation stipend are not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. Key Responsibilities Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective imaging. Applies broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards. Provides appropriate interventional screening to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff. These responsibilities are a general overview; additional duties may be assigned. Technical Capabilities Radiology (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency in moderate‑difficulty radiology services. Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency in moderate‑difficulty anatomy and physiology. Patient Documentation (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency in moderate‑difficulty documentation, generally working under direction of others while accomplishing assignments. Compliance (Novice): Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions on the job, understands principles of rules and regulations, and appropriately escalates related problems in a timely manner. Position Qualifications Certifications: LIC – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Licensure‑Others Work experience: Relevant work experience. Experience level: 1 year. Education: Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (required).
