Job DescriptionThe Department of Corrections, Division of Health & Rehabilitative Services, is recruiting for a Long Term Non-Permanent Mental Health Clinician 3 position at the Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) located in Fairbanks, Alaska.What You Will Be Doing:Conducting substance use disorder screenings and assessments through direct interviews, review of existing history and clinical observation to make appropriate treatment recommendation.Conducting diagnostic screenings, risk assessments, and mental health evaluations of referred inmates through the review of existing history, prior psychological testing, clinical observations, and direct interviews.Developing, implementing, and maintaining treatment plans for inmates assigned to caseload.Coordinating mental health and substance use disorder treatment services at the facility.Our Mission, Values, and Culture:The HARS Mission Statement: To provide timely access to essential care through an evidence-based multidisciplinary approach.
