Job Summary Supervises journeyman electricians and helpers in the planning, diagramming, installing, and repairing of electrical systems and conduits or tubing or pipe required by local electrical codes. Provides input on electrical plans, oversees their implementation, and manages maintenance of these systems. Responsibilities Supervise journeyman electricians and helpers. Plan, diagram, install, and repair electrical systems and conduits. Provide input on electrical plans and oversee their implementation. Maintain electrical systems in compliance with local codes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency. Five years of related experience or training. Supervisory experience preferred. Electrical Journeyman license strongly preferred. NCEER certification strongly preferred. Skills and Abilities Read blueprints and construction drawings. Run conduit and wire for electrical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues promptly. Safely use tools and related equipment. Work effectively as an individual and in a team environment. Manage disruptions with professionalism. Terminate electrical devices as required. Install electrical systems in new construction settings. Lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects. Ascend and descend ladders safely. Handle job stress and demands cooperatively.
