Content Lead

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for a highly creative, organized Content Lead to drive the development and execution of engaging content across multiple platforms, including paid ads. This is a hands-on role, with a primary focus on writing, filming, and producing high-quality content, while also providing leadership to our intern and roster content creators. You'll coach and set standards for creators, finalize storyboards and creative briefs, write scripts, and ensure everything aligns with our brand voice and strategy goals. This role also manages content requests and deliverables from crossover departments, serving as the bridge between creative vision and execution. The ideal candidate is both a doer and a leader — comfortable in front of and behind the camera, confident guiding others, and skilled at turning concepts into compelling content that drives results. This role will work primarily from our Charleston, SC office.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

• Innovation: Stay up to date on content trends, platform updates, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
• Content Creation: Shoot and edit high-quality content tailored to various platforms and audiences, including content built for paid ads. Follow and execute storyboarded, self-curated, and idea-based videos, shooting with the team and maintaining a high-energy, “film factory” environment.
• Storyboard & Script Creation: Finalize storyboards, write assigned scripts, and develop creative briefs to ensure clarity and creative excellence.
• QA, Standards & Coaching: Coach, mentor, and lead intern and roster creators, setting clear expectations and maintaining high creative standards.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Manage content requests and priorities from crossover departments, ensuring alignment with overall strategy, deliverables, and timelines.
• Project Management: Oversee content workflows from concept to delivery, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.

YOU’RE A FIT IF…

• Proven experience in content creation, filming, and editing (portfolio required).
• Strong leadership skills with experience coaching or mentoring junior creatives.
• Excellent writing ability for script development and brand messaging.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement.
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and organized.
• Thrives in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Experience in marketing, advertising, or creative agency environments.
