Special Education Classroom Assistant (10 Month + 30 Days Contract)

SPECIAL EDUCATION CLASSROOM ASSISTANT (10 MONTH + 30 DAYS) We are looking for dynamic teaching assistants who want to work with a young, autistic population in an ABA setting. This is an ideal position for anyone looking to start a career in education with a goal of becoming a teacher or becoming a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). Teaching assistants will be given a 10 month contract (Sept. 1-June 30) that includes days off for school holidays including a week for winter break and a week for spring break as well as a 30 day contract for ESY (Extended School Year) that runs for six weeks in the summer. 10 month school year hours are 8am-3pm, while the 30 day ESY hours are 8am-2pm.
