As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and supporting residents and visitors with exceptional customer service. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help identify and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and manage access to the residential location by verifying authorized entry, documenting visitor and vendor information, and communicating access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and reporting observations accurately. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Maintain a professional presence at access points to help deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming residential environment. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
