Registered Nurse Positon

Comfort Keepers of NJ is now hiring a per diem hourly staff registered nurse. This person will be making in‑home assessment visits in North Jersey (Warren, Morristown and Bridgewater). Home health registered nurses assess the needs of clients for home‑care assistance and deliver care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. RNs effectively interact and provide information on health maintenance and disease prevention, and offer case management with clients, significant others, and other health members while maintaining professional nursing standards. They supervise caregivers in the home, delegate tasks, and conduct medical assessments including vital signs and medication list review. Private duty RN will provide nursing skills to individual clients in their homes. Job Responsibilities Assesses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and environmental status of assigned clients in a systematic and continuous manner to provide required client services Provides nursing services in accordance with the plan of care and utilizing the nursing process Coordinates and integrates services being provided to the client by all disciplines Initiates and revises client care plans for the caregivers based on client needs and supervises the care provided by the caregivers as applicable Provides those services requiring skills using the nursing process Administers medications according to company policy Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current, unencumbered state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required with home‑health experience preferred Current CPR certification Copy of updated physical, based on state requirements Copy of updated TB results / chest X‑ray Reliable transportation Must be willing to wear a mask while in a client’s home Benefits 401K Health insurance Flexible hours Friendly work environment Teaching opportunities with CHHA School License/Certification RN (Required) Work Location On the road, traveling to Bridgewater, Morristown, and Warren area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
