Location: Charlotte, NC preferred; Irving/Las Colinas, TX also considered Work Type: Individual Contributor, hands-on technical role Conversion Opportunity: Yes Spotlight: TBD About the Role We are seeking an Application Performance Monitoring Engineer to support enterprise application monitoring, observability, automation, and performance management. In this hands-on individual contributor role, you will use tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics to monitor application health, identify performance issues, analyze operational data, and help improve application reliability.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with excellent communication skills and is comfortable collaborating with technical teams, business partners, and leadership across a geographically dispersed organization.

• Monitor and analyze application performance using AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Splunk .
• Investigate application performance issues, identify trends, and support root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, and monitoring solutions that improve visibility into application health and performance.
• Partner with application, infrastructure, operations, and engineering teams to identify and resolve performance and availability concerns.
• Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve monitoring processes through automation and scripting .
• Support automation initiatives using tools and technologies such as Ansible, Selenium, and Python .
• Use data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau to communicate operational insights.
• Support monitoring and observability technologies, including Prometheus .
• Track and manage operational activities using ServiceNow (SNOW) .
• Organize and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a dynamic, complex environment.
• Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders across multiple geographic locations.

• 4+ years of experience with Splunk.
• 4+ years of experience with AppDynamics Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
• Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and analyzing enterprise application performance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information and recommendations to leadership both within and outside the immediate organization.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate effectively within a geographically dispersed organization.

• 1+ years of automation experience.
• Experience with automation tools or frameworks such as Ansible or Selenium .
• 1+ years of Python or other scripting experience.
• 1+ years of Prometheus experience.
• 1+ years of Power BI and/or Tableau experience.
• 1+ years of ServiceNow (SNOW) experience.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI) technologies or AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience working with mainframe technologies .
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word .
