Locums Position in Alabama for Cardiac Anesthesia (Huntsville)

Overview

Assignment details describe a schedule with day shifts and limited on-call requirements, focused on high-acuity cardiac, thoracic, EP, and structural heart cases.

Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
Pager call 1:4 — weeknights and 1 - 2 weekends per month
Shared call with CRNAs in-house
High acuity patients — ASA 3 - 4
Approximately 20 cases per day
Cardiac, thoracic, EP, and structural heart cases

Responsibilities

Provide coverage for high-acuity cardiac, thoracic, EP, and structural heart cases
Participate in shared in-house call with CRNAs
Manage approximately 20 cases per day
Maintain required procedural skills for CT surgery, EP, and structural heart cases
Adhere to assignment details and time entry in the online portal

Qualifications

Hospital privileges required
Procedural skills in CT surgery, EP, and structural heart cases
Ability to work with high-acuity patients (ASA 3-4)
