Business Data Analyst

It’s an opportunity to grow your skills and experience as a valued member of the team. Responsibilities Build a deep understanding of the business to identify and address critical issues. Work with clients to determine business requirements, priorities, define key performance indicators (KPI) and support ongoing BI & Data Warehouse strategy. Engage business and development teams to design, document dashboards, alerts, and reports. Provide project leadership including facilitating requirements gathering and presenting findings to all levels of management. Analyze functional business processes and requirements, and drive the development of user stories as a member of an Agile Scrum Team. Educate and train clients to use data as an analytical tool, displaying information for analysis. Qualifications BA/BS Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and progressive experience. 3+ years of Business Data Analyst experience. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments. Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, and ability to research complex data‑oriented problems. Proactive, results‑driven with a positive can‑do attitude. Excellent teamwork skills (distributed environments). Experience working on an Agile team as a BA (preferred). Commercial Insurance and Financial principles (preferred). Data profiling, strong SQL skills, proficiency in Word, MS Excel and Visio. Technical experience with BI tools and Python is a plus. Exposure to APIs and understanding of XML and JSON (preferred). Exposure to AI (preferred). Benefits The base salary range for this position is 85,000‑110,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
