Scheduler Location: Riverview, FL Facility: BayCare Medical Group Shift: Days | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary) Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Weekend Work: Not Required On Call: Not Required Remote Work: Not eligible (Onsite only) Join BayCare as a Scheduler As a Scheduler, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care by ensuring procedures and appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex clinical information to patients and healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include: Scheduling patient procedures accurately and efficiently Collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers Delivering clinical examination instructions to patients Documenting patient responses to clinical screening questions Maintaining communication with physician offices and hospital departments regarding scheduled procedures Understanding and applying payer authorization guidelines Performing general clerical duties including answering phones, data entry, and correspondence Supporting scheduling operations across the BayCare Health System Traveling within the BayCare service area as needed Performing other duties as assigned Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Experience Required: One (1) year of Customer Service experience OR One (1) year of Healthcare experience What We Offer Unlock Your Career Potential: Join Our Team and Enjoy Our Outstanding Benefits!
