ANESTHESIOLOGIST
Phoenix, Arizona
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our full-time clinical team at a prominent healthcare system in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This facility is a community-oriented, university-affiliated teaching hospital, recognized as a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and an ABA verified Burn Center.
The role encompasses a diverse range of clinical responsibilities, including:
- Labor and Delivery
- Neonatal and general pediatric surgeries
- General surgery
- Robotic surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) procedures
- Plastic surgery
- Burn care
- Level I trauma management
- Orthopedic and podiatric surgeries
- Special procedures outside the operating room
Our anesthesiologists have access to TEE equipment for perioperative and critical care patients, managing approximately 11,000 anesthesia cases annually. The position requires being on call 4-5 times each month. Candidates should possess flexibility, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the capability to work with high-acuity adult and pediatric patients. Additionally, the role involves supervising and educating residents in emergency medicine and surgery, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students. This teaching component provides an excellent opportunity for our physicians to pursue academic appointments through our university affiliations.
