Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Outside Sales Representative role based in Seguin, TX. You'll own the full sales cycle — from qualifying prospects through closing new business — across healthcare, construction, and professional services clients. Day-to-day, you will:

• Identify and qualify prospective clients across our core verticals and build a healthy, well-documented sales pipeline

• Conduct in-person and virtual consultations to understand client needs and pain points

• Present BBS services (managed IT, cybersecurity, structured cabling, and cloud solutions) in clear business terms

• Prepare proposals and quotes, negotiate agreements, and close new business

• Follow up on leads and maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records

• Collaborate with our technical team to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and deliverable

• Support a smooth transition from prospect to client and help maintain strong long-term client relationships after the sale

• Represent BBS at local events and networking opportunities to build brand presence in the community

You'll work alongside our SDR to build and qualify pipeline, while also being responsible for generating your own opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and local business development. You will be expected to maintain consistent monthly sales-accepted meetings and progress toward a defined sales quota during your first 90 days.

• Proven ability to generate new business, maintain an active qualified pipeline, and consistently work toward defined revenue and new-client acquisition goals.

• Skills in client needs discovery, solution-based selling, and presenting technical offerings in clear business terms

• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment where success requires consistent prospecting, follow-up, and new-business activity.

• Demonstrated willingness to actively prospect rather than rely primarily on company-provided leads.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships

• Comfort working in the field, meeting clients on-site, and representing the company at local events

• Solid organizational and time management skills, including accurate documentation and CRM usage

• High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-focus; commitment to supporting small and mid-size businesses

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally across Central Texas

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of B2B outside sales, account executive, or business development experience
• Experience selling managed IT, cybersecurity, SaaS, telecommunications, structured cabling, or other professional services
• Experience selling recurring service agreements or contracts
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, or managed IT
• Existing business relationships in Seguin, New Braunfels, San Marcos, San Antonio, or surrounding Central Texas markets

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary $33,000, plus uncapped commission on new business (13%/7%/7% tiered structure, +3% bonus tier)

• On-target earnings of $80,000–$95,000 for reps who hit quota

• 60-day ramp period with a recoverable monthly draw while you build your pipeline
