Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments including detailed medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through imaging interpretation and lab analysis
• Work in collaboration with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment protocols
• Provide vital support during surgeries, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing instruments during procedures
• Deliver excellent pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, and coordinating discharge and follow-up education for patients

Education Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices

Certification Requirements

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility for licensure
