Our client, a leading organization in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Distribution Support team supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Richmond, CA

Pay Range: $19.45

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM)

What's the Job?

• Pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse efficiently and accurately.
• Transport materials from the picking area to designated locations, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Sort and place materials on pallets or bakery dollies according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Load and unload bread trays from trucks, following safety procedures and productivity goals.
• Utilize RF scanning and voice picking equipment to support directed order picking, if applicable.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Strong attention to safety, food safety, and hygiene guidelines.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and meet productivity goals.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
