Provides detailed information and submittals to communicate design and operation to customers, consultants,Sales and Service team and subcontractors.\n\nHow you will do it:\n\n\n \n Designs, configures and services technically complex building control systems for the customers facility.\n \n Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, network layouts, schedules and electrical schematics as required.\n \n Develops and tests software programs necessary to operate the system per customer facility requirements' intent.\n \n Coordinates and creates necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals, services and/or installation.\n \n Selects, orders, and tracks the delivery of materials for assigned jobs.\n \n Assists in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required.\n \n Assists in validation of complete system functionality and solves problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.\n \n Provides field change information to the team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.\n \n Keeps management and JCI contractor and customer informed of job progress and issues.\n \n Assists in performing site-specific training for owner / operator on the total building control system.\n \n Participates in coordination and release meetings with sales and service operations.\n \n Performs value engineering to provide cost effective results while maintaining customer satisfaction.\n \n May provide work direction to Service Controls Technician I and Senior I and Senior II Controls Technicians.\n \n Adheres to safety standards.\n \n High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety\n\n\nWhat we look for\nRequired:\n\n\n \n Demonstrated knowledge of the construction or service, or HVAC industry. \n \n Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems. \n \n Demonstrated experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols (i.e., LON, BACnet, etc.).\n \n Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.\n \n Demonstrated advanced computer skills required, particularly computer-related drafting tools.\n\n\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $32.64 - 44.90 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
