As a Food Service Specialist at KidsPeace, you will play a vital role in supporting the children in our program by ensuring they receive nutritious, balanced meals that fuel their growth, learning, and development. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for the children we serve. Key Responsibilities Preparing and producing nutritious meals and snacks Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment Managing meal service with attention to detail and efficiency Dishwashing and keeping kitchen areas organized Assisting children with nutrition education to encourage healthy habits Supporting purchasing processes, data collection, and maintaining accurate reports Qualifications Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, sanitation procedures, and large-scale cooking Previous kitchen experience is required High School Diploma or GED required Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Full‑Time Hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:00AM‑6:00PM #J-18808-Ljbffr
