Are you a motivated, people-focused individual who enjoys building relationships and helping others find solutions? Farmers Insurance is looking for an enthusiastic Insurance Sales Professional to join our team.

In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to understand their insurance needs, provide guidance, and help connect them with coverage solutions that fit their individual situations. You’ll have the opportunity to build your sales, communication, and relationship-building skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the insurance industry.

No previous insurance experience is required. We provide training, support, and resources to help the right candidate learn the industry and work toward obtaining the necessary insurance licenses.

As you grow in the role, you’ll gain real-world experience, build confidence in your sales abilities, and develop valuable skills that can support your long-term professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs and connect them with appropriate coverage solutions
• Educate customers on a variety of insurance products, including Auto, Home, Life, and Business Insurance
• Proactively follow up with leads, identify sales opportunities, and grow customer relationships
• Meet with customers to discuss their needs, answer questions, and identify potential coverage opportunities
• Provide ongoing support with coverage questions, policy changes, and other customer service needs
• Develop strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills through hands-on training and real-world experience
• Learn and effectively use agency systems, processes, and industry best practices
• Work closely with team members to create a positive customer experience and contribute to the growth of the business

Requirements

Insurance licenses are preferred but not required. Licensing support and guidance are available for the right candidate.

• Self-motivated with an interest in sales, customer relationships, and building a career in the insurance industry
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to connect with customers, understand their needs, and discuss insurance solutions with confidence
• Comfortable working in a goal-oriented environment and contributing to individual and team goals
• Willingness to learn, accept coaching, apply feedback, and take initiative
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple customer interactions and priorities
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, or relationship-building is helpful but not required
