Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, therapists, and families
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Compassionate and culturally responsive approach to working with diverse learners
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to students with varying abilities and needs
- Assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and adjusting strategies as needed
- Develop and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster positive relationships with students, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive educational support
- Communicate regularly with families, providing feedback and resources to empower student success
