Manufacturing Supervisor

Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team. As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be part of the team supporting Elyria, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proactive approach, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Elyria, OH

Pay Range: $35-$40/hour

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

• Oversee the daily workflow and assignments related to the production shift to meet plant objectives and customer needs.
• Assist with hiring and training new and transferred employees, including cross-training the workforce as necessary.
• Mentor, coach, and engage teams; provide constructive and timely performance feedback to build team capabilities.
• Ensure standardized work processes and rotation schedules are followed, and conduct routine rounds to monitor production standards.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety rules, and procedures, taking corrective actions when necessary.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a manufacturing supervisor.
• Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to support production schedules.
• Proven effectiveness in developing teams, managing direct reports, and empowering individuals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and timekeeping programs.
