Sierra Peaks is a fast-growing, ISO-9001 certified, high-precision fabrication, manufacturing, and software engineering company known for quality, responsiveness, and customer service. As part of our outside sales force, this role will directly shape our growth in new industries.

Role Overview

We're hiring an ambitious outside salesperson to drive growth by opening new accounts and expanding our presence in high-value markets such as maritime/ship repair, aerospace & defense, general contracting, medical devices, energy, and industrial manufacturing. This role is ideal for a hunter who thrives on prospecting, discovering customer needs, and building long-term partnerships.

Sierra Peaks serves customers who require exceptional quality, tight tolerances, and dependable turnaround. We cut, bend, weld, and assemble custom metal components for customers across multiple industries. 

The ideal candidate has experience in any industry that uses fabricated sheet metal parts, that uses custom cables, in DoD, DoE, the Military and is a dynamic salesperson excited about prospecting/cold calls at high volumes, deal qualification and discovery, managing a pipeline, and closing deals.

This salesperson will work closely with the CEO and the broader sales team.

What You’ll Do

• Generate leads (through lots of cold calls, emails, conferences, etc.)
• Book and execute discovery meetings with customers for requirements gathering and scoping.
• Establish scopes of work and support in proposal/quote creation (collaborating with pricing and operations teams).
• Build and maintain a growing CRM pipeline and sales forecast
• Meet sales KPIs, including metrics for call volume, email volume, discovery meetings booked, proposals submitted, pipeline size, use of CRM, etc.

What We’re Looking For

• B2B and/or B2G experience in contract manufacturing or industrial sales.
• Desire to aggressively prospect and build a large sales pipeline.
• Experience and enthusiasm in collaborating with pricing and operations teams to win profitable business.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes (engineering not required, but must be technically fluent)
• Top tier prospector with proven success in cultivating new accounts
• Excellent communication and negotiation, and skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• CRM experience (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

Travel Requirements

• Travel to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events (20-40%)

Compensation + Benefits

• Base Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
