Fitness & Member Services Associate | Full-Time | Fitness Center | Beckley, WV

BODYWORKS, a H2 Health company, is seeking a Fitness & Member Services Associate to join our team in Beckley, WV. You'll help create a welcoming gym experience by assisting members, discussing memberships and programs, supporting fitness activities, and helping with day-to-day fitness center operations.

No personal training certification is required. If you're outgoing, dependable, and interested in fitness, wellness, or healthcare, we'd love to meet you.

Your Role:

• Welcome members and assist with check-ins
• Discuss memberships, services, and programs with current and prospective members
• Answer questions and provide a great member experience
• Assist members throughout the fitness center
• Support fitness and wellness activities and programs
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym environment
• Assist with member records and documentation
• Collaborate with our fitness, wellness, and rehabilitation teams
• Support community events and outreach as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable talking with people
• Interest in fitness, health, and wellness
• Ability to work in an active, team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Previous fitness, gym, recreation, customer service, hospitality, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. Students and recent graduates in exercise science, kinesiology, health sciences, and related fields are encouraged to apply.
