Job Description As the Business Development Manager supporting the Higher Education, Healthcare and Non‑profit (HHN) segment, you will develop, support, and manage regional and national community opportunities for HHN institutions. You will be a key player in the Community & Business Development (CBD) organization and your role will be to support field management by implementing strategies that enhance our impact and growth. Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Growth, you will work closely with CBD leadership, One Chase, JPMC partners, and other functional groups. You must be able to work independently, influence leadership, coach behaviors, and manage your workload efficiently. Job Responsibilities Support JPMorgan Chase’s mission to be the bank for all, the easiest to do business with, and trusted in our communities. Manage 5–15 regional or national relationships within the HHN segment, with the ability to pivot to other vertical segments as needed, including Government Banking and Middle Markets. Connect stakeholders to firm resources, including One JPMC partners and local Community Managers. Serve as a subject‑matter expert for Divisional Directors, Community Directors, and JPMC partners, responsible for key initiatives such as market entry activation and engagement with HHN institutions. Assess current relationships and identify opportunities to deepen involvement by collaborating with HHN Bankers. Create an engagement plan with standardized offerings; align resources and goals with partners and institutions and regularly monitor and report progress. Partner with local One Chase to offer Financial Health Workshops to faculty, staff, students, and parents of higher education institutions. Recommend solutions to deliver on strategic opportunities for CBD employees and One Chase partners. Scale the business‑development function, leading to standardized best practices and added value for LOB partners. Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities Minimum of 7 years of business development within HHN. Ability to connect business results to behaviors and influence leadership. Passionate, authentic, bold, and a team player. Executive presence with strong presentation and communication skills and ability to create executive‑level summaries. Expert knowledge of the Chase ecosystem and experience in coaching behaviors. Self‑motivated with a proven track record of delivering results. Ability to travel up to 75%. Dodd‑Frank and SAFE Act This position is subject to the Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on JPMorgan Chase’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other relevant information. Any felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies you from consideration. Ongoing employment is contingent upon compliance with these requirements. Additionally, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment you will be required to register on NMLS, update your existing registration, and maintain compliance, including timely renewal and updates.
