Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled EP Lab Tech for a 13-week contract to support electrophysiology procedures. The role involves working with advanced equipment and collaborating with a dedicated team in a fast-paced cardiac environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate electrophysiology mapping and imaging equipment such as Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic systems.
  
• Assist with various procedures including ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart interventions.
  
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
  
• Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record system (Meditech).
  
• Follow unit policies, dress code, and patient safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of scrub experience in cath lab or electrophysiology lab.
  
• Proven experience supporting electrophysiology or cath lab procedures.
  
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing tasks.
  
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  
• Current certification as a scrub technician or sterile processing technician preferred.
  
• CPR/BLS certification required.
