Senior Financial AnalystReports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Department: Finance & AccountingPosition SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and technology-savvy Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and business decision-making across a growing organization. This role will partner closely with finance and operational leadership to improve forecasting accuracy, automate financial processes, and transform complex data into actionable business insights.The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with advanced data analysis skills and a passion for leveraging modern technologies, including business intelligence platforms and AI-powered tools, to drive efficiency and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planningSupport quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial projectionsPerform scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to evaluate business initiatives, investments, and operational decisionsAnalyze business performance, operating costs, and profitability metrics to identify opportunities for improvementAutomate financial reporting and workflow processes using modern data management, reporting, and AI toolsData Analytics & ReportingDesign and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools using business intelligence platforms and advanced Excel capabilitiesUtilize AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis, automate reporting, and improve access to business insightsEstablish controls and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrityDevelop self-service reporting solutions for finance and operational stakeholdersIntegrate and analyze data from multiple business systems to support informed decision-makingCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to support business objectivesHelp standardize performance measurement and reporting across departmentsEvaluate the financial impact of operational initiatives, capital investments, and resource allocation decisionsPresent findings and recommendations to management in a clear and actionable mannerQualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field5–7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related disciplineDemonstrated ability to automate processes and improve efficiency using modern reporting and analytics toolsStrong proficiency in Excel and experience with business intelligence platforms and database tools (such as Power BI, SQL, or similar technologies)Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skillsExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilitiesStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendationsPreferredExperience utilizing AI or large language model (LLM) tools to support financial analysis, reporting, or workflow automationExperience evaluating capital investment opportunities or large-scale business initiativesExposure to operational finance and performance measurement in asset-intensive industriesWorking knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting processesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications Target range is 110K to 130KPerformance-based bonus opportunityComprehensive health and dental benefits401(k) retirement plan with employer contributionPaid time off and company holidaysProfessional development and continuing education supportOpportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing and innovative organizationNo relocation support and ideally seeking candidates in the Salem, Corvallis, Albany area.
