Floor Care Technician

The Floor Technician is responsible for all aspects of floor care, using the latest custodial equipment to provide high quality service levels while adhering to company policies and ensuring a safe working environment. The role requires an energetic, enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service. Job Responsibilities General floor care activities (dust and wet mop, scrub and buff, vacuum, and bonnet) Periodic floor care activities (scrub and wax, strip and wax, vacuum and extract, pressure washing) Manage and maintain floor equipment and supplies Maintain a safe work environment Coordinate activities between customers and the company Complete other duties as assigned Job Requirements Skills and Abilities Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR. Must have reliable transportation. Ability to work with little supervision. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to a changing work plan. Customer-oriented and friendly. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. 2–4 years of experience in all aspects of floor care preferred. Knowledge of industry best practices. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for long periods of time. Repeat the same movements. Frequent bending and twisting. Able to lift, push and pull 50 lbs. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends; possible overnights for special projects.
