Title: Construction Estimator

Location: Malvern, PA

Salary Range: $130K-140K

Project Types: Retail, Industrial and Commercial

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful General Contractor in the Malvern, PA area on their search for an Estimator with experience in Retail, Industrial and Commercial . Estimator will manage the preconstruction phase for assigned projects, ensuring cost goals are met across estimating, scheduling, bidding, and contracting. For design/build projects, lead the design team through completion of construction documents while keeping the project aligned with scope and budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full bidding process from start to finish, including soliciting, leveling, and analyzing bids for:

– Conceptual estimates

– Hard bids (GMP and lump sum)

– Major change orders

• Prepare or assist in developing scopes of work to support estimating efforts

• Develop and maintain strong subcontractor relationships

• Review and understand project documents (specs, general conditions, schedules) and how they impact pricing

Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of construction management processes, including estimating, bidding, purchasing, and subcontractor negotiations

• Familiarity with design processes, approvals, and building codes

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial/industrial estimating (site/civil experience is a plus)

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a client-focused mindset

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with Maxwell ProContractor and Microsoft Office
