The Special Education team is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic individual to work collaboratively with our special and general education team members to provide specialized academic instruction to students with learning disabilities and/or multiple needs. The preferred applicant will have experience working successfully with students with emotional or behavioral needs, as well as evidence of differentiated instruction that meets the unique needs of each student. A Maine Department of Education K-8 Special Education Teacher (#282 or #282B) certificate is preferable; related certifications or ability to obtain certification may be considered for the right applicant; CHRC is required. Pay is based upon experience and level of education.
