Job Details Location: Kalispell, MT 59901 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $22.00 - $33.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Position Purpose The primary purpose of this position is to provide painting services for Immanuel Living. Specific Duties and Responsibilities Understand and support the philosophy, policies, and standards of the Terraces and Immanuel Living. Maintain confidentiality of residents, resident family members, coworkers, and Immanuel Living. Follow facility and department policies and procedures. Prepare room(s) for painting. Set up for painting. Paint rooms, as needed and/or assigned. Tear down equipment after painting. Clean brushes, rollers, and other tools. Replace items removed during preparation (e.g., plug-ins, switch cover plates, phone jack covers, etc.). Attend sales meetings and report progress on room updates. Facilitate all flip supplies, paint ordering, remodel projects items for all buildings. Responsible for apartment flips for full turns. Work Order fulfillment. Work occasionally in tight and/or cramped spaces. Work occasionally from ladders or step-stools. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Communicate with supervisor and participate in training and/or meetings that help facilitate departmental communication process. Function effectively as a team member. Maintain good working relationships with other staff. Maintain regular work attendance and follow established work schedule. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Language: Read, write, and speak basic English. Read and comprehend basic instructions and present information to others. Read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence. Mathematical: Basic counting skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple numbers. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Specialized Office Equipment: Operate multi-line phone to place or receive calls. Other Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: Effectively work and communicate with a wide range of individuals from all socio-economic groups, including senior adult residents and people with special needs. Read, interpret, and implement documents such as governmental regulations, rules, and procedure manuals. Work with minimal supervision and effectively manage workflow. Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from residents and/or employees. Professional Licenses or Certification Required by Law, Rule, or Regulation for Performing This Position Current First Aid and CPR certifications. Essential Physical, Mental, and Emotional Requirements The employee must be at least 18 years of age, as the position operates potentially hazardous equipment. The employee must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time and/or deadline pressures. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger; handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required of this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Decisions This position operates under close supervision of a supervisor that assigns and checks work and sets the timing and the sequence of work performed. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Impact of Decisions and Errors Made by Position Decisions, final recommendations, and/or errors primarily affect other employees in the work unit/department that this position is assigned to. Judgment Required in Decision-making Job duties typically involve limited judgment in applying factual background and fundamental principles to the development approaches and techniques for the solution of problems. Exception Authority This position cannot authorize exceptions to corporate policy or procedure. Personal Contacts This position maintains daily contact and interaction with coworkers, residents, and the public. This position interacts with department managers and administrators on a daily basis. Working Conditions This position works in a temperature-controlled facility environment. This position is exposed, on a monthly or less frequent basis, to the following: operation of a motor vehicle under all weather conditions; risk of cuts, burns, shock or other minor injuries that do not require hospitalization; unpleasant substances, odors, and/or noises; work above ground level on ladders or scaffolds; work outdoors under all weather conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
