IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Interventional Radiology Technician

Level I trauma experience required. Unit: Interventional Radiology. Rooms: 2 general IR suites, 1 Spine IR room, and 2 neuro endo suites. Certifications required: ARRT (R), Az license MRTBE-CRT. VI certificate is a plus but not required. Scrub experience preferred. EMR: Cerner, DR (PACS). Cases per day: 5-10. Weekends: Yes, possibly some Saturdays. Shifts: Day shifts 8 hours M-F (8:30a-5p or 9a-5:30p). Call requirement: None. Floating: None outside of radiology. Floor specific orientation: Philips Allera, Medrad injector. Common cases/types of patients: Procedures- GI/GJ tubes, ports, angio's, lumbar punctures, myelograms, nephr tubes, stents, IVC filters, blood patch. Also neuro experience if possible but not required for endovascular procedures, embolizations, stents, stroke treatment if only candidate has only or mostly neuro that is also acceptable depending on what type of cases. Sedation cases have 2 RNs, RT scrubs with MD.
