Wood Personnel is in partnership with a large distribution center located in Portland, TN who is currently hiring for Forklift Operators. Start your next career move today. Forklift Operator Compensation and Hours:

Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have valid drivers license or clean MVR report
- Must have 6+ months of solid fork lift operation experience, within the last 3 years
- Sit down, Standup, Turret Truck, and Cherry Picker forklift experience required
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to operate forklifts and cherry pickers
- Accurately pick parts throughout the warehouse
- Weigh product using the proper scales
- Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy
- Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer
- Responsible for reading customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements
- Maintain stock of warehouse and shipping supplies
- Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed
- Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues
- Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the lead or supervisor
