Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults in a long-term care setting, including assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, observing for adverse reactions
- Document care activities in the electronic medical record and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and social services to implement and adjust care plans
- Support residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and safety to promote independence and well-being
- Respond to patient and family questions, participate in rounds, and ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Mexico (or valid multi-state compact license)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- 1+ year of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a local long-term care setting and lift assist as required
