CNA Evening Shift Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide hands-on care and support to residents throughout the evening shift. Your responsibilities include:

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and individualized resident care

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility

• Support resident comfort, safety, and dignity during the evening shift

• Perform regular resident rounds and respond to resident needs

• Follow individualized care plans and facility nursing procedures

• Assist with repositioning, transfers, and mobility as needed

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff

• Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident rooms and common areas

• Work collaboratively with CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and nursing leadership

CNA Qualifications

• Active Missouri CNA Certification (Required)

• Previous CNA experience preferred; new CNAs with clinical training are encouraged to apply

• Experience in skilled nursing, nursing homes, long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior care is a plus

• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills

• Compassionate and dependable approach to resident care

• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required according to facility policy
