Middle School Teacher (Full-Time) School: Academy of Mount St. UrsulaLocation: Bronx, New York Salary: $55,000, with adjustments based on experience Start Date: September 2026 Why Work Here?"With 170 years of educating young women, the Academy of Mount St. Ursula empowers young women to be leaders in service and society."The Academy of Mount St. Ursula, an all-girls Catholic high school conducted in the Ursuline tradition and located in the Bronx is seeking a mission-driven, practicing Catholic educator to teach a combined Grades 7 and 8 classroom. This "bridge" model requires strong differentiation skills and a commitment to meeting diverse learning needs. We are a diverse school community, and we welcome applicants of all faiths.Responsibilities:Foster a supportive, faith-centered learning environmentTeach ELA, Math, Science, and Social StudiesDifferentiate instruction for two grade levels in one classroomAssess student progress and communicate with familiesCollaborate with colleagues and uphold Catholic doctrine & values in daily teachingQualifications:Committed to Catholic educationBachelor's degree required; master's degree and certification preferredMiddle school teaching experience and strong classroom management skills3–5 years of teaching experience preferred Ability to differentiate instruction effectivelyApply: Submit resume and cover letter to Sr. Meghan McArdle, View email address on us.fitly.work
