Job Description Flex Security Officer - Full Time & Part Time Work Locations: In the metro east ranging from Godfrey, Highland, Edwardsville, Cahokia Heights, & Sauget, IL. Drug screens include THC testing. Flex Officer Schedules Schedules will consist of filling call-offs, covering requested days off, vacation requests, and extra coverage for special assignments. Majority of these shifts will be 2nd shift (2PM - 10PM) and / or 3rd shift (10PM - 6AM). Security Officer Schedules Majority of these shifts will be 2nd shift (2PM - 10PM) and / or 3rd shift (10PM - 6AM). Open Interviews Thursday July 23 rd , July 30 th , August 6 th , & August 13 th , from 10AM - 11AM. Proper interview attire required to be interviewed.

Frequent interactions with client employees and guests. Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity. Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed. Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests. Utilizing technology devices throughout shift. Position is about 75% - 80% standing / walking. Position can be up to 75% - 80% of the time outside in all weather (except lightning, hail, and tornado). Conduct tours of the property. Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site. Basic Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for an Illinois PERC Security Officer License. Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or willing to complete a GED program. Above average computer / technology skills needed. Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus. Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed. Must be able to work independently. Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations. Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift. Must have a professional demeanor. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must have reliable transportation (Public transportation is not available at most work site locations). Must have reliable working communication device (cell phone).
